How do I sign up (register) to Kewordal?
From the Landing page, click on the ‘Get Started’ button in the top right and proceed by filling out the form to sign-up to the platform.

To login to our platform, from the Landing page, click on the ‘login’ button in the top right.  You can also login via any one of the social media icons located on the screen.

What if I cannot get into my Kewordal account?
If you are unable to login to your account, first check that you have typed your password and email address correctly and that you have not registered your account under a different email address.  Ensure that the ‘caps lock’ button is set correctly.

What if I have forgotten my password?
After attempting to login, go to 'Forgot Password' that pops up on the Landing page.  Enter the email address that you originally used to register your account.  After completing this, a ‘reset password link’ will be sent to you.  Once you have received the email you can reset your password.  If you do not receive an email, please first check it is not sitting in your junk email box. If it is, please change your email settings and mark emails from kewordal.com as ‘safe’ with your email provider. For any other difficulties regarding your password, you can email us through the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page.

Can I share posts and comments regarding education on Kewordal?
Yes.  Once you are logged in to Kewordal, you can use the ‘Share a post’ button to post comments.  You can upload a photo, video, and attach it to your subject and list.

Can I create a subject on Kewordal?
If you are learning a subject not currently present on our platform, you can request that we add this.  Simply click on the ‘Add Subject’ button in the top left-hand corner of the dashboard page; and follow the instructions, i.e., the exact name of the subject, the course URL/link, and an image that represents the course.

How should I use Kewordal?
Users collate words known as ‘keywords’ (because of the importance they take on) in list format under their topic of interest.  The keywords throughout the year are used for revising, testing, games, sharing and much more, helping the learner strengthen the association between keywords and lists, to ultimately learn the subject in greater detail.  Based on learning by repetition, mind mapping and word association, Kewordal’s approach is one of the most successful revision methods around.

What is a keyword?
A keyword is a word of particular importance, and usually summarises a set of text associated to it.

What is a Kewordal list?
A Kewordal list is a series of keywords organised under a title.  The Kewordal list ‘title’ represents the pinnacle keyword in the list.  The keywords located in the Kewordal list serve to unlock a vast amount of information on that topic.  For example, you might use the term ‘Periodic Table 20’ as a Kewordal list title to remember the first 20 elements of the Periodic Table.

How does Kewordal improve my knowledge?
Kewordal helps to improve your knowledge by strengthening the association between your Kewordal list filled with keywords, and the data that sits behind them.  Let us use the Periodic Table list example again.  By using Kewordal’s system of repetitive learning for games, challenges, and receiving/sharing content, the user begins to recall Hydrogen, Helium, Lithium, Beryllium, Boron, Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen and so on (triggering the content behind them) more easily, giving a deeper understanding of the subject and an easier exams and tests journey.

What is Kewordal?
Kewordal is a revision and social learning platform based on mind-mapping, word association and learning by repetition.  It is one of the best revision methods around to help learners study, revise and excel at exams.  Kewordal enables a learner to create and group keywords under a Kewordal lists for any topic.  By continuously building, revising, and revisiting Kewordal lists, the learner strengthens the keyword associations while developing a deeper and more subconscious form of learning.

What if I want to share my Kewordal lists with friends?
You can share your Kewordal lists with friends at any time.  Simply go to your account, click on the box beside the group of words you want to share; once you have clicked it, press the 'share’ button.  An email will be sent to the individual(s) who you want to share your Kewordal list with.

Your friend will be invited to set up an account.  Once they have done this, they will be able to pick up all the keywords that you have shared with them.  If they already have an account with us, they can save them into their own account immediately.

Please remember that your friend may need to check their ‘junk email box’ if they do not get an email from us.  They should check for emails from www.kewordal.com or www.kewordal.co.uk.  If they are filed in ‘junk,’ they should simply change their email settings and mark emails from www.kewordal.com as ‘safe’ with their email provider.

You can add, group, share, print or delete keywords on Kewordal. To add keywords simply click on the ‘add’ button and type in the word you want to create in a list. You can group keywords by creating a list.  If you wish to share, print, or delete keywords simply click the relevant button.

How do I delete a Kewordal list?
To delete a Kewordal list, open the list and click on the delete button.

What if the keywords that I have saved in my Kewordal list are incorrect?
You should only collect keywords that you are confident are relevant to your topic of interest – in essence, the ones you have noted down from a book or learnt in a lesson.  You should collaborate with others or with your teachers/lecturers to help you improve your list.

Do I have to pay to use Kewordal?
Kewordal operates a freemium model.  This means we are free at the point of use with charges applied if you use premium services.  Any charges to use the platform are clearly set out.

How do I create a Kewordal list?
·     Go to the ‘List’ page and click on ‘Add New List’ button
·     Select the ‘Subject’ that your list applies to by typing it in, and it should automatically come up
·     Once you have selected your subject add the name you want to give your Kewordal list
·     Now you are ready to add keywords to your newly created Kewordal list

How do I add content to my keyword?
Once you have created a Kewordal list title you can add content.  To do this, simply go to the relevant box and type in or copy and paste in your information, ensuring the information is correct and in line with what you wish to remember later.  The boxes you can add content to include ‘note’, ‘question’ (ensure you do not add the answer in the question box), ‘image’, ‘video’, and ‘link’.

How do I create a game to challenge and play against friends and peers?
To create a game to challenge and play against friends or peers, first create a Kewordal list with at least four keywords with the relevant text featuring in the ‘Add Question’ field.  You can now play a game and challenge a friend or peer.

To create a ‘following’ and to become an ‘influencer’ on Kewordal, you will need to do as many of the following activities as is practically possible:
